Ingredients to Avoid in Skin Care

Here is a list of ingredients that should not be present in any of yours skincare & cosmetic products, & if present should be discarded right away. Because when absorbed by the skin they can be hazardous.

  1. Formaldehyde,
  2. Synthetic colorants, Phthalates/Fragrance i.e. DHP, DBP5, DEHP and dibutyl phthalate,
  3. D&C or FD&C varieties,
  4. 1,4 Dioxane,
  5. Parabens listed as methyl, propyl, butyl and ethyl,
  6. Coal Tar Dyes,
  7. Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)
  8. Petrolatum
  9. Triclosan
  10. Polyethylene Glycol (PEG)
  11. Phenoxyethanol
  12. TEA (triethanolamine), DEA (Diethanolamine) and MEA (Monoethanolamine)
